I recorded a CD in 2002 entitled Madeline to sell in order to raise money for diabetes research. A large portion of the proceeds from this CD were donated to the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation. JDRF is the number one nonprofit, non-governmental funder of diabetes research worldwide. JDRF has three major "cure" goals: restoring normal blood sugar, preventing and reversing diabetes-related complications, and preventing diabetes and its recurrence.
